What Is the AIxBio Research Fellowship?
The fellowship is run by ERA in partnership with the Cambridge Biosecurity Hub. It supports researchers, engineers, policy thinkers and entrepreneurs working to reduce global catastrophic biological risks, especially engineered pandemics and biological threats that advanced AI could make worse.
Choose one of three tracks:
- Research track: Turn an open biosecurity question into a project that produces evidence, methods or tools.
- Placement track: Join a biosecurity team and lead a workstream in research, engineering, policy or implementation.
- Founding track: Explore whether a neglected biosecurity problem needs a new organization, and test the idea.
